Specialist Delivery · Training Video

30 seconds is when most training videos get switched off. Scenario film is what people watch.

Custom-scripted scenarios performed by trained Corporate Actors. Filmed for your LMS, induction program or compliance rollout. For larger productions we partner with Mint Talks for full production capability.

How we work

Three ways to bring us into your production

The Experience Lab has been writing and casting scenario-based content for Australian workplaces for more than a decade. The actors who show up in our live deliveries are the same calibrated roster who appear on camera - characters held realistically, takes adjusted on direction, repeatable across the production.

For larger productions we partner with Mint Talks to combine our workplace-content expertise with their full production capability - one team, one brief, one finished asset. For smaller jobs, you can book just our actors or just our writing-and-casting work.

We don't film talking-heads content - straight-to-camera explainer videos, executive announcements, on-screen narration. That's not what our craft is built for. We are built for scenario work - characters in a workplace, navigating something realistic, with the calibration and repeatability that comes from a trained roster.

1

Actors for your shoot

You're producing your own video with your own crew. We supply trained Corporate Actors who can hold workplace characters realistically, take direction from your director, and adapt across takes. Same calibrated roster we use for our live deliveries.

2

Full production with Mint Talks

For larger pieces we partner with Mint Talks on the production side. We bring the script, the casting and the workplace expertise; they bring the cameras, lighting, audio and editing team. One brief, one team, one delivery.

3

Scripting and casting only

You have a production team but need the workplace-content expertise. We write the script, cast the right actors and brief them - then hand the production over to your crew.

4

What we don't film

Talking-head explainers, executive announcements, on-screen narration. Not our craft. We can recommend producers who specialise in those formats.

Typical delivery

What we are typically asked to film

Most briefs sit inside one of these categories. Each gets bespoke scripting, casting and on-set actor direction - because the workplace authenticity is the reason you would book us in the first place.

  • Onboarding and induction modules that need scenario-based segments, not talking heads
  • Branching e-learning content where viewers choose what happens next
  • Behaviour-change films around respect, bullying, harassment, psychosocial risk
  • Values rollouts that need consistent, repeatable scenes for multi-site distribution
  • Compliance refresh content for LMS deployment
  • Case-study films that dramatise a real workplace situation without exposing real people

What clients say
We needed the clinical scenarios to feel real enough that staff would engage with the module. The Experience Lab brought writers and actors who understood the workplace context. We could not have made that content with a standard production house.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Typically six to twelve weeks from scoping call to final delivery for a multi-scene production. Shorter for single-scene work or adaptations of existing material. The bulk of the time is script, casting and pre-production - the shoot itself is usually a day or two.

Either. Some clients bring a clear brief and want us to execute; others want us to develop the scenarios from a higher-level objective. We are comfortable at both ends - we just need to know which mode you want before we start.

You do. We hand over final files, usage rights and the source material your team needs for internal distribution. The Corporate Actors are engaged with appropriate buyout terms negotiated at scope - your finished asset is yours to use.

Yes. Site-based filming is common - especially for induction and compliance content where the authentic environment matters. We coordinate with your operations team on access, scheduling and safety briefing. Studio filming is also available when site filming is not viable.

We script and film the scenarios; we partner with e-learning specialists on the branching architecture if needed. Several Australian L&D platforms host the work we have produced. We can recommend platforms or work with the one you already use.
