Play is an important part of the learning process. Our skilled facilitators and corporate actors weave traditional and non-traditional training practices together; drawing on theatre-based learning, improvisation and immersive learning techniques.
OUR STORY
The Experience Lab formed in 2013 when its founders recognised an opportunity in workplace training. Frustrated with the ineffectiveness of traditional training methods, organisations sought training that actively engaged participants in the learning process. Founders Angela and Michael Sanderson-Green and Jacob Fjord draw on their backgrounds in business, occupational therapy, training and education, theatre and improvisation to create programs that bring learning to life. Today, The Experience Lab employs over 80 actors and is the preferred provider for leading organisations in mining, resources, state government, health and education. It is powered by a core team of professional directors, facilitators, workplace behaviour experts, writers and producers.
OUR MISSION
The Experience Lab redefines workplace training by harnessing the unique talents of our facilitators, corporate actors, RolePlayers and creative team to craft immersive, engaging learning experiences. We commit to fostering inclusive environments where participants explore, practice and master new skills through dynamic, hands-on interactions, ultimately driving meaningful and lasting change in their professional lives.
